Probably already asked but can't find it -- any chance of port to OSX?

Hi -

I'd love it if MIDI Designer could run on my Mac.  I'm already committed to using the Mac at live gigs because of MainStage and GuitarRig.  Would love it if MIDI Designer was another app running in parallel on the same machine as the others.  Pedal board talks to MIDI Designer; MIDI Designer talks to other OSX apps; life is even more wonderful!  Of all the possible ports, OSX would be the easiest one since there's a lot of overlap in the development environments for OSX and iOS.

Just daydreaming...

Thanks. We've heard this suggestion before, but never here on the Q&A site. The most similar is this one.

It's a great idea, and not as difficult as, say, a port to Android. We'll definitely consider it. However, while we'll be deep in MD development for the next 3-6 months, this feature isn't like to happen in that period. 

One thing that will get your MIDI Designer more integrated on your OSX machine is to use Music IO for the connections (as opposed to, say, Wi-Fi). A direct USB connection for MIDI is a lot more straightforward, in our experience (and we're co-authors on the project, too).
