You can google and find classic rock TW settings, but I do not know of a single compendium of the settings. Google "Hammond Drawbar Settings"...

That is why I started with "traditional" organ setting in the RD-2000 TW manager.  These settings are more appropriate to religious settings, and for some reason are more well documented online, and hence were easy to include in the first release.

Seems many rock players default to 88 8000 000 (10 of the RD-2000 preset TW tones) or 88 8800 00 (six of the presets).

I still hope to get back to the RD TW manager and add a full set of rock presets.  But as you observe, the problem is assembling a representative set.  Once I have them, updating the RD 2000 manager takes only an hour or so.

p.s., if you had put this on the RD-2000 manager thread I would have seen it faster.

@gareth the answer is that you can edit the layout just like the author in one hour. It'll probably take you longer until you know where to look, since you didn't author it.

Make sense?
You don't need to edit anything, since it is already set up to store presets.  The presets just happen to be preloaded with "traditional" settings, not rock/blues settings.  When you figure out that Whiter Shade "might be" 68 8600 000 on, soft, slow, second, just chose a location and hit store.

But you find out the artists were just grabbing a lot of drawbars, and even if you knew exactly what they set, recreating the old analog sound from a manhandled B3 and leslie is difficult with our new digital toys.  This was the entire purpose of the original TW manager -- make it simpler to just grab some RD-2000 TW drawbars, and save the interesting settings you found.

Regardless, I am still working an update to add more rock/jazz/blues presets.

Draft update adding 90 classic drawbar presets

MIDI Target Manufacturer(s): Roland
Here is a draft update adding 90 classic drawbar presets.  I have sorted through as many Hammond Drawbar settings as I could find online, filtered for dupes, and tried to arrange in logical groups.  There is a new tab for the new complete set of presets, with the original "religious and traditional" presets pushed to the back.  While I filtered most dupes, I did include all the RD-2000 and EXP-5 settings, which have a LOT of dupes.

Still have some final cleanup before posting for general use.

If I missed any interesting presets, I can add them.

The new presets are hard coded.  The original preset tabs are still there, where 128 user presets can be stored.

James, this looks incredible! Thank you so much for your time and effort in producing this!! Exactly what I was after!
I have spent more time sorting the patches for the final release.  Head starts hurting thinking about how to make them logical and easy to reference.  I was hoping to have the logic to read the RD rotary status ready for this update, but if it keeps kicking my xxx, will go ahead and post without.
1.07 is now posted with the ~90 additional settings, plus other enhancements.
